The Florida School Counselor Association (FSCA) Professional Recognition Committee invites school counseling professionals from around the state to make nominations for School Counselor of the Year (SCOY) and our Advocate Awards.   

County chapters of FSCA or school districts may choose to select an individual(s) for the SCOY nomination or encourage school counselors to nominate themselves for this honor.   Nominees must be working as a full-time school counselor and have completed 3 years of service by October 1, 2020.  

After clicking on the link below and creating a log-in,* go to “Apply Today” to start the nomination and application process for SCOY. The portal is open for nominations until September 26, 2020, and has an October 19, 2020, 11:59 pm EST deadline for nominees to complete and submit their packets.
